Speaking Opportunity: Central Valley Health Network

The Central Valley Health Network is seeking a dynamic speaker or small panel of speakers to present a breakout session at its 4th Annual Leadership and Collaboration Conference to be held on October 21, 2009 in Clovis, California. The preferred topic will focus on developing non-traditional fundraising efforts.

The target audience will be the senior leadership members of the 12 health center systems that comprise the network. Traditionally the health centers are funded by federal and state grant monies as well as by grants from other foundations. In addition, health centers are reimbursed for care provider through various health plans. However, the health centers continue to provide a significant amount of uncompensated care.

The breakout sessions are one-hour in length. Presenters will be asked to either deliver one topic for a one-hour session which will be repeated one additional time, or the option is available to present a two-hour session.

The Central Valley Health Network (CVHN) is a consortium of 12 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). The mission of CVHN is to facilitate community health centers' strength in the marketplace and to support members' effective delivery of high quality and accessible health care. CVHN strengthens its members by augmenting their abilities to deliver high quality, accessible primary care to families in their communities.
