  • Time: 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. (Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.)

Kay Sprinkel GraceThe first decade of the 21st century is nearly over and it has been a time of incredible challenges, opportunities and change for nonprofits. Getting ready for the next decade falls squarely on the shoulders of boards who are expected to know more, do more and be more involved than ever before. Kay Sprinkel Grace has developed a program that engages board members in resource development.

Her AAA (Ambassador, Advocate, Asker) program helps board members find their "confidence zone" and get connected with tasks they want to do. Based on her just-released book (July/August, 2009. Whit Press, Seattle) The AAA Way to Fundraising Success: Maximum Involvement, Maximum Results, this session will provide staff and board members with a management tool that works. Set in the context of today’s fundraising and economic environment and enhanced with Kay's years of experience creating effective models and strategies for successful development programs, this session will serve as a launch pad for the next decade of your development planning and board involvement.
