Our Presenters

Mary Anna Dunn, associate vice president for development, California State University, Fresno

Betsy Hays, APR, speaker, educator and facilitator Department of Mass Communication & Journalism, California State University, Fresno.

Jill Wagner, APR director of campaign communications, California State University, Fresno

Dunn oversees the university's Campaign for Fresno State, the largest fundraising effort in the university's history. Dunn came to Fresno State in 2004 after serving as chief strategist and leader of the billion dollar campaign for the University of Colorado. She has earned the highest recognition in her field. Ms. Dunn has a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University, where she earned Phi Beta Kappa honors, and earned a master's degree from the University of Colorado.

Hays has more than 18 years of public relations experience, and has been a strategic communication consultant for a number of nonprofit and private sector organizations. She is also the lead Public Relations Professor for the Department of Mass Communication & Journalism at Fresno State - a post she has held since 1999. She also serves as the president of the Central California Chapter of the PRSA.

A noted public relations practitioner in crisis communications, marketing and relationship-building, Wagner has more than 20 years of diversified PR experience in non-profit and governmental sectors, including 10 years operating a non-profit education foundation. She is an accredited public relations expert who has extensive and award-winning experience in public relations.
