AFP is the professional association of individuals responsible for generating philanthropic support for a wide variety of nonprofit, charitable organizations serving the Central Valley.
AFP's Valley chapter meets the third Tuesday of most months for networking and programs of interest to those involved in the fundraising profession. Meetings are held at Pardini's Banquet Rooms at 2257 West Shaw Avenue, Fresno. Check-in and networking begin at 11:30; lunch is at noon with the program from 12:15 until 1:30 p.m. Topics are announced on this site, emailed to our distribution list, and through numerous media outlets. You do not have to be an AFP member to attend; topics are appropriate for the staff, board, and volunteers who serve non-profit organizations in Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, and Merced counties.

The Golden Gate Chapter of AFP and Development Executives Roundtable have extended an invitation to our chapter member to join them for Fund Raising Day 2010 in San Francisco on Wednesday, June 16. For those unable to travel to AFP International, this is often considered the west coast's premier fundraising training conference.
